I’ve been staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Honolulu long-term for business, and it has been outstanding. The rooms are comfortable and well-kept, and the service from the entire team has been consistently excellent. A special shout-out to Kainoa at the front desk, he has gone above and beyond every time, has been incredibly helpful, and has genuinely made me feel welcome. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Honolulu.

The hotel is beautiful and everyone is so kind. I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Karen T who works in SERA. While I was eating breakfast she noticed I had natto on my plate and asked if I ever had it before. When I told her I had not, she was so supportive and described to me exactly how to eat it and got me everything I needed. Additionally, she was literally running around the restaurant ensuring everyone had what they needed and supporting not only guests but staff as well. With her as a representation of the culture of the hotel, I will gladly be back!

Wanted to give a huge thank you to Kainoa for always going above and beyond every time we stay here. After multiple stays, they consistently make us feel welcomed, remembered, and taken care of. I kind of felt like that annoying guest asking for things here and there, but they always came through and were very accommodating and kind . The bellman are great, and the spa attendants are very sweet and helpful. We like to stay on the residential side, because I love having a full kitchen, washer/dryer and separate bedroom. Makes it much easier with a toddler. Their customer service really stands out. positive. Employees like this are a big reason we keep coming back. Truly appreciate all the help and hospitality.

My family and I had a wonderful 10-day vacation in Oahu! Got upgraded from 1 bedroom residential suite mountain view to ocean front view. A big shout-out to the staff at this hotel-they are amazing, especially Jessa at the front desk, who was so helpful, kind, and reliable. The housekeeping staff also deserves a mention for their incredibly fast service; whenever I needed something, they delivered it within minutes! We ate breakfast at SERA restaurant almost every day ( Received complimentary continental breakfast for Titanium member , $10 per person to upgrade ) - the buffet food is excellent, and the staff are great. I love that they have rice, salmon and miso soup at the buffet! Additionally, the gym is very clean and well-equipped. The staff at the gym and pool area did very well in maintaining this area. The location of this hotel is perfect, within walking distance to everything we needed, including groceries, restaurants, Ala Moana Center, and the beach. The only downside was that the pool was too cold to swim in but everything else was great! We will definitely stay here again.

Incredible hotel for the value. Dining, amenities, and customer service are all superior to other nearby accommodations. I prefer staying in the Ala Moana area versus Waikiki. I’ve stayed at the Renaissance on six different occasions and every trip has been lovely. I especially enjoy getting spa services and using their state-of-the-art gym. I had a massage and facial combo this past trip and they did a fantastic job. Shawn at the front desk is incredibly friendly, and the cleaning staff is top notch! We’ll be back again soon!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has a great atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable, and everything just feels easy and relaxing from the moment you arrive. Kainoa O has always been incredibly welcoming whenever we visit. We first met him last year, and it’s always nice seeing him when we come back. He’s one of those people who helps make a stay feel a little more personal. This has become one of our favorite spots in Honolulu, and we’re already looking forward to our next trip back. 🌺🤙🏼

Always enjoy staying at the Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa. The property is beautiful, the rooms are great, and the staff consistently make the experience feel welcoming and easy. A special shoutout to Kainoa O. We actually met him during his first month working here back in October of last year, and he’s been awesome ever since. Every time we come back, he remembers us, takes the time to say hello, and genuinely makes us feel welcome. It’s honestly just good to see him still here after all this time. We used to stay at the Ritz-Carlton Waikiki, but over the past year we’ve found ourselves preferring to stay here instead. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience keep bringing us back. We’re Marriott Ambassador Elite members and stay at a lot of Marriott properties, and this is one of the places we genuinely enjoy returning to. Great staff, great atmosphere, and always a solid stay. Mahalo 🌺🤙🏽
